At Zip2Zip Mail Calculator, available at zip2zip.bunnycal.com, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Zip2Zip and how we use it.
1. Browser-Based Calculation Policy (Zero Server Tracking)
Unlike traditional logistics search tools, **all ZIP code transit time calculations are processed entirely client-side in your web browser**.
When you enter an origin or destination ZIP code and click "Calculate", our application does not transmit this data to our servers. The coordinates, distances, and estimated shipping zones are calculated in real-time in JavaScript utilizing an offline embedded JSON database (`zip3.json`). As a result, we do not store, log, or track your search inputs.
2. Log Files & Server Logs
Zip2Zip follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this as part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and timestamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable and are used solely to monitor site stability and performance.
3. Local Storage Caching
We use standard browser local storage (`localStorage`) to remember your design preferences. Specifically, when you toggle the dark mode button in our header, we store a small key `theme` (with the value `light` or `dark`) in your browser cache to ensure that the site loads in your preferred styling theme on future visits.
4. Cookies and Web Beacons
We do not set tracking cookies or web beacons, nor do we load third-party ad networks or marketing tracking scripts on our platform.
